About
Maths Club is designed for Yr 3-6 students who really love maths and would enjoy working together to solve problems and investigate things in a mathematical way. We will be doing Maths Talent Quest for the first half of the year https://mawainc.org.au/maths-talent-quest/.Maths Club is designed to not overlap with the school maths curriculum. The focus will be on abstract thinking, group work and sorting information. Also trivial maths-related activities like memorising the digits of pi. It will be run by Emma Tomkinson, a parent and maths specialist.
Maths Club will be held Wednesday mornings, 7:30-8:30 in Cowan 7 (opposite the toilets).
Spaces will be limited to the first 20 students registered.
The cost of Maths Club is $50 per term ($25 for term one because it's almost over). You will get an email with payment details after registering.
