About
Together for a cause, since 1959.The Xavier Dinner Committee was formed in 1959 by the late and great Tim McCarthy. Mr McCarthy formulated the concept for an annual black tie dinner for men and enlisted support for the idea from Dr Clive Uhr (later Sir Clive Uhr) the president of the Xavier Society at that time.
It’s been 66 years since 1959. Since then the Xavier Dinner has raised over $4.7 million, and continued supporting under funded and under appreciated causes with transparent, targeted donations.
At the Xavier Dinner we have a fundamental belief: that small gestures have meaning, and enough of them mean change.
2026 BENEFICARY: JUICED TV
Juiced TV is a Queensland-founded organisation transforming the hospital experience for children through child-led media, education and connection. We are proud to support them in 2026. Juiced TV creates and streams entertaining and educational content to make hospital better for kids. Their entertainment program helps patients build confidence and form positive connections with peers, care teams, and the hospital environment, while their educational content explains the people, places, and procedures they may encounter, empowering children to take an active role in their healthcare journey. Their dream is for every kid, in every hospital, across the country to experience the joy of Juiced TV.
