Veritas in the Valley
About
Veritas in the Valley is a two-day adult formation experience for ex-students, current parents and members of the wider community who seek to explore how the Dominican charism can be lived meaningfully in the modern world.Set within the natural beauty and stillness of Tallong, the weekend invites participants to step away from the pace of daily life and enter a space of prayer, study, community and service – the four Dominican pillars.
Through keynote presentations, workshop engagement, shared meals, bush liturgy and unstructured time for conversation and rest, participants will encounter the Dominican tradition not as history, but as a living charism. The program draws on the wisdom of those who have lived and taught within the tradition, offering depth, intellectual engagement and practical guidance for everyday life.
