NDIS Connection Desk One-to-One Session
About
A targeted, private and one-to-one session where parents/carers can discuss the specific needs of their child, at any point on the NDIS journey. The NDIS professionals will be able to guide you with the explicit information and link you to the appropriate areas within NDIS to support you/your child directly.It is recommended that families bring with them any supporting evidence of the applicant and parents if they are wishing to discuss accessing the NDIS, including diagnostic assessments and identity.
For post-school planning, we encourage parents to read over and complete the "Let's Talk About Work" booklet to support with understanding how NDIS can help school leavers. https://www.ndis.gov.au/participants/finding-keeping-and-changing-jobs/lets-talk-about-work
NDIS representatives can only discuss NDIS plans with child representatives, plan nominees, and authorised persons.
