The famed Choir of Christ Church South Yarra and the Melbourne Baroque Orchestra under the direction of Michael Fulcher presents parts 2 and 3 of Handel's celebrated oratorio, Messiah, as a sequel to part 1 performed so successfully late last year. The wonderful Rachael Beesley leads the orchestra in a 5-6.30pm performance without interval which features the Passion-, Easter-, and Ascensiontide sections of the work, in the Easter season. Our 8 fabulous choral scholars will sing the solo arias, Mia Robinson, Joelle Kross, Miranda Gronow, Sophie Whitehead, Matthew Bennett, Will Holt, Will Fellows, and Sandy Humphreys.Date
