UMS & AHS for Sadness Book Launch
About
You’re warmly invited to join us for the official launch of UMS & AHS for Sadness, a gentle and empowering new children’s book that opens the door to meaningful conversations about emotions and mental wellbeing.Sadness is something everyone experiences, yet for children it can sometimes feel confusing, overwhelming, or lonely. Understanding Mental Struggles and Addressing Helpful Solutions for Sadness thoughtfully explains what sadness is, why we feel it, and how it is a natural and important part of being human.
Through simple language and relatable examples, this beautiful book helps young minds recognise their feelings while reassuring them that they are never alone. It explores the difference between everyday sadness and deeper emotional struggles such as depression, and offers practical, age-appropriate ways to seek support, nurture wellbeing, and reconnect with hope.
With warmth, honesty, and compassion, UMS & AHS for Sadness reminds children, and the adults who care for them, that feelings come and go, just like rain and sunshine… and after both, a rainbow can appear.
