Introduction to Crystals

Introduction to Crystals is a one-day short course designed for crystal lovers, enthusiasts and those with a curious mind.

Learn the wonders of the science behind the formation of crystals. Students will gain a solid foundation of knowledge to identify popular crystals by understanding their physical features, characteristics, inclusions and optical properties.

This one-day course is taught by Stacey Lim, a qualified Gemmologist with a passion for crystals.

Spend the day surrounded by amazing crystal specimens in one of Australia’s homes of gemmology studies at the Gemmological Association of Australia - Victorian Division.

If you are travelling from interstate or overseas, please ensure that you take out travel insurance to cover your costs in case of course cancellation.

Minimum participants are required to run a scheduled class. In the event that minimum numbers are not reached, GAA (Vic) reserves the right to either reschedule your booking or request to transfer your booking into another scheduled class. In the event that the class is cancelled, participants will be notified as soon as possible and no later than 24 hours before the scheduled class date.
