Getting started in Research
About
Interested in research but unsure how and where to start? This new seminar in the Research Skills series introduces the essential foundations of research, beginning with a clear understanding of what research is and how to identify a problem. Attendees will be guided through the process of shaping that problem into a focused research question and selecting appropriate methods to answer it. The session will provide practical steps involved in moving a research project forward, and give you the confidence to plan, organise and begin your own research projects.
Presented by Dr David Cullingford, Research Education Program Fellow and Dr Sam Montgomery, Clinical Research Faciltator, CAHS.
Watch in-person at the Perth Children's Hospital auditorium (light lunch provided) or join us on Teams (the link will be emailed to you on booking, and again the day of the event).
