The Troublemakers have been playing together—and
playing up a storm—for nearly a decade. With a sound
rooted in trad jazz, hard bop, and beyond, they channel
the spirit of the classic quintets while bringing their own
modern edge.This powerhouse lineup features some of
Perth’s most compelling young jazz talents:
Pierson Snowsill (trumpet/flugelhorn), Josh Parker (tenor
sax), Jackson Van Ballegooyen (piano), Tom Berkmann
(double bass), and Sam Newman (drums).
Joining them for this special performance is the superb
vocalist, Matilda Simcock.
