A musical, a man in a chair and mix-ups galore - this is 'The Drowsy Chaperone', a journey through the joys of classic Broadway melodies and mayhem! Janet, a show-girl and movie starlet, and Robert, a leading Hollywood man, are set to get married at the estate of wealthy Mrs Tottendale but... will things go to plan?Mr Feldzieg wants to stop this wedding and keep his star performer, two definitely-not-gangsters-disguised-as-pastry-chefs are threatening to ruin the whole day and poor Best Man George just wants to help his friends.
Throw in a perpetually tipsy Chaperone (in the age of Prohibition no less!) and a Latin lothario and you've got a hilarious, high-energy show!
