As part of Defence Week 2026, the Larrakeyah Defence Precinct in conjunction with Norsta-North Defence Industry Day brings industry, Defence and government together under the theme “Northern Capability, National Defence.” Hosted at the heart of Australia’s northern maritime gateway, the event will feature a Saltwater Leadership brief highlighting Indigenous leadership, regional partnerships and the strategic importance of the Northern Territory to Australia’s defence posture. Attendees will also participate in guided tours of Defence capability within the HMAS Coonawarra basin, providing rare, on‑site insight into naval operations, sustainment and enabling infrastructure that underpin national defence outcomes. This Industry Day is designed to strengthen connections, showcase northern capability, and support collaboration critical to Australia’s defence and security future.Date
