The Raise the Barre Dance Convention is a 2 day dance experience designed to provide dancers with industry level training, performance opportunities, and real pathways into the professional dance world.Bringing together leading choreographers and emerging artists, this event is more than just a convention - it’s a platform to be seen, learn and perform!

Selected dancers will have the chance to:
• Perform in small group pieces choreographed during the event
• Take the stage alongside Perth dance studios
• Work closely with industry choreographers
🔥 Minute to Win It – Solo Challenge
Throughout the workshops, choreographers will select standout dancers to compete in our Minute to Win It Finale.
Selected dancers will:
• Perform a 1 minute solo
• Be judged by a panel of choreographers
• Compete for cash prizes and industry recognition
✨ Emerging Choreographer Program
Supporting the next generation of creatives, we will feature 2 emerging choreographers who will:
• Teach a workshop
• Choreograph a performance piece
• Compete for a cash prize awarded by industry professionals
