Unofficial Dunsborough Jazz Club - April 2026
About
🎷 The FIRST Unofficial Dunsborough Jazz Club of the Year 🎶 with special guest, Jessie Gordon! We're excited to bring back the Unofficial Dunsborough Jazz Club for the first event of the year - an afternoon of live jazz and good company. The Local Vintage returns for several sets of hard swingin jazz standards that you're bound to want to get up and dance to. Think Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday.
For this event we are joined fo a set by special guest, Jessie Gordon. Jessie is a very sun-shy Perth red-headed jazz singer who enjoys swing music, dancing in her kitchen to Otis Redding, eating cheese at any given opportunity and singing in the shower and every other (shaded) venue. Her main musical passions are jazz, blues and roots music. She started singing professionally at the age of 15 and has fronted big bands, jazz duos and every sized band in-between. She has toured Australia, America, South East Asia, Germany, France, Spain, Poland and the UK. She is also a 20 time Fringe World Music and Cabaret Award winner.
Come along on Sunday, April 26th from 3–6pm at St. George's Hall in Dunsborough to enjoy swing, jazz, and a relaxed afternoon among friends and neighbours.
Bring a picnic or some snacks to share, and either BYO drinks or buy a bottle of local wine to help support next year’s Boogie Down South 2026 festival.
This event is all about community, music, and connection — whether you’re up for a dance or just want to listen and unwind. Everyone’s welcome, and you definitely don’t need to be a dancer to join in.
