This is a rare night time excursion for this superb local band! Their Saturday arvo shows have been very well attended through the first months of the year, so we thought it might be time to try doing a show at a more grown up time!The Big River All Stars are a honky tonkin' Dangar Island Band featuring the considerable talents of Jimmy Daley (Electric Guitar, Voice) Alex Jung (Double Bass, Voice), Professor Godbolt (Piano, Voice) and Steve Griffiths (Acoustic Guitar, Voice). Playing a fun melange of Western Swing, Honky Tonk and Vintage Country, they are regularly joined by special guests, making this a fun, informal session of fantastic music.
The band will play two sets between 7pm and 9pm, with dinner being available from 6pm.
This is a limited capacity session, so book a seat to reserve a table - or feel free to just roll up, pull up a chair, have a drink and drop a donation in the 'Hat' for the band - but beware, the last few sessions have ben fully booked!
Non residents can get a public ferry from Brooklyn at 6pm but will need to book a water taxi to get back to Brooklyn after the show. Advance water taxi bookings are ESSENTIAL and can be made by calling 0422 300 100.
