About
In this beginner-friendly sewing workshop, you’ll learn the essential tools, equipment and materials needed to start your sewing journey.What you’ll learn:
- Four essential hand-sewing stitches used for mending, alterations, and small craft projects
- How to press and pin fabric correctly in preparation for machine sewing
What you’ll make:
- A jar gripper
- A reusable shopping bag
- A placemat
What’s included:
- Basic materials for practice and project making
- Access to sewing machines during the workshop
Premium fabric designs will be available to purchase on the day for $2 per metre, or you’re welcome to bring your own fabric. You may also bring your own sewing machine if you’d prefer to learn on it.
