Trek for Timor Perth 2026
The International Partnerships & Development Commission invite you to get together with friends or go solo to raise money for Lafaek Diak's mobile health clinic in Timor Leste.
Starting and ending at Saint Stephen’s Uniting Church in Applecross, there will be two walk options for people to choose - 3.4km and 6.8km - finishing the day with afternoon refreshments. This family friendly and accessible walk will not only be a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon, it is an opportunity to raise funds for the Mobile Health Clinic in East Timor. You could walk, scoot or ride! There are also options to sponsor someone, or simply make a donation.
Treks are our regular way of raising funds to support the mobile health clinic in East Timor run by our Uniting Church partners Fundaçoun Lafaek Diak (FLD – the Good Crocodile Foundation). The mobile clinic goes out to a remote community twice a week from its base in Triloca. The mobile health clinic provides life saving community based health services to these remote communities.
