If you have ever travelled between Launceston and Hobart then you would have passed by the Cleveland Union Chapel, built in 1852. In a field by itself, accompanied only by its graveyard, it originally served the 'ministers of all evangelical denominations' of Van Diemens Land. Cleveland was a coach stop on the Great North Road, near an area renowned for bushrangers, and the graveyard contains many interesting old headstones.
The simple brick and timber interior of the church provides an amazingly reverberant space for violin and guitar music.

- Parking for this event is on private land. Access is not on a formed road and directions to the property will be provided on booking.
- Toilet facilities are located 250 metres away from the church, on private property. It is possible to walk, or drive if necessary.
- If you fancy, you might like to bring a cushion to go between you and the pew.
