Mossman Reef to River Rumble – 50th Anniversary Fishing CompetitionIn 2026, the Mossman Boat & Fishing Club celebrates 50 years of fishing, community, and local tradition — and we’re marking it with our biggest and most competitive event yet.
The Mossman Reef to River Rumble – 50th Anniversary Fishing Competition is a high-stakes, multi-day angling showdown built around serious competition, cash prizes, and the unique fishing grounds of Far North Queensland.
From estuary systems to the outer reef, this event welcomes anglers of all experience levels to put their skills, strategy, and determination to the test.
The event itself, will run over three days, kicking off immediately after briefing at 6pm on Friday, the 2nd. The competition closes at noon Sunday - on the dot. The real fun starts when the weigh-in commences at 3pm on Sunday, followed by entertainment, food vans, raffle winners, and, of course, the announcement of the winners.
