A weekend course, where on the first day you will learn to knot pearls like a professional! You will learn the traditional ways of threading, including knotting and finishing to complete your own strings using natural gem beads and cultured pearls.The second day you will learn a short history of natural and cultured pearls, as well as their treatments and imitations. You will learn how to identify a pearl (natural or cultured) from an imitation – very handy for those op shop excursions.

• Basic pearl history and information
• Knotted pearl threading
• Unknotted pearl threading
• Pearl threading tools
• Pearl & bead threading materials
• Consistent knotting
• Adding clasps and closures
You can do one day or both days!

Stringing Only: $275 Member $300 Non Member
Theory Only: $275 Member $300 Non Member
Both days: $500 Member $550 Non Member
Attendees will take home everything that is made during the course.
