RGU Program - Grief and Uncertainty - May 2026
About
Shaping Life Around Uncertainty: Grief, Resilience, and RealitiesFacilitated by GriefWise WA, this workshop offers a gentle space to explore grief as it can be experienced while living with rare, genetic, and undiagnosed conditions. This may include the uncertainty of not having answers, navigating pathways to care, and the ongoing emotional weight of living with complexity over time.
There are many ways grief can show up, including adjustment, resilience, and the day-to-day realities people may be carrying. This session, facilitated by a counsellor with a lifetime of experience in grief and loss, will bring a compassionate and understanding approach to exploring grief in all its forms.
You are welcome to participate in whatever way feels right for you, whether that is listening, reflecting, or connecting. We hope this session offers a sense of understanding and a reminder that you are not alone.
*This event is designed for individuals living with, or caring for someone with, a Rare Genetic or Undiagnosed (RGU) condition. However, if you feel the session would be valuable for you, we very warmly encourage you to register and join us.
