Breast cancer survivorship- what to ask and why it matters
About
Please join The Cairns Group GPs on the 5th of May for an important discussion on Breast cancer survivorshipWith improving breast cancer outcomes, more women are living well beyond diagnosis and treatment — and increasingly turning to their GP for ongoing care. Yet survivorship often brings complex challenges including treatment-induced menopause, fatigue, cognitive changes, sexual dysfunction, bone health concerns, fear of recurrence, and endocrine therapy side effects. This practical session will explore the common long-term and late effects of breast cancer treatment, with a focus on evidence-based strategies GPs can use to support women to recover, adapt, and thrive after cancer.
