Are you a local contractor or supplier interested in doing business with Council?Join us for our free workshop which aims to strengthen your understanding of our procurement process helping to develop the skills and confidence to provide a submission to Council, whilst maximising opportunities for future projects.
What you’ll experience:
Practical guidance from Council's Coordinator of Procurement and Contracts, who will go over Council’s procurement processes and provide valuable insight into what assessors look for in submissions.
The workshop will cover:
• How Council engages contractors and suppliers
• How to find out about opportunities to work with Council
• What to include when responding to a Request for Tender (RFT) or Request for Quotation (RFQ) including: WHS statements, insurance and compliance criterion.
• Where to access Request for Tender (RFT) or Request for Quotation (RFQ documents
• Ethical standards and regulatory requirements councils must follow
This workshop is designed to provide clear, practical guidance and examples on how to approach tender applications strategically, and how to strengthen submissions to improve the likelihood of success, without unnecessary jargon or complexity.
