It takes a special person to be a social work practitioner.You’re a champion of social change, someone who stands up to tackle issues that unfairly impact on individuals or communities and a great communicator and a creative thinker with unlimited empathy.
In this information session, you’ll discover what it takes to become a professional in this field, able to work in Australia and overseas. You’ll also hear about the requirement to complete 1000 hours of supervised fieldwork placements over the two-year course.
Please note that this session will be covering the Master of Social Work (Qualifying) course only. It will not be covering our undergraduate course.
