Read the Play is proud to celebrate 20 years of supporting young people through community sport.Join us for the Read the Play 20 Year Gala Dinner on Saturday 7 November 2026 at Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre.
Hosted by Madison Browne and Cameron Ling, this special milestone event will bring together community sport leaders, partners, volunteers, supporters, donors and friends of Read the Play for an evening of reflection, celebration and connection.
For two decades, Read the Play has helped young people build mental health literacy, recognise when they or someone around them may need support, and understand where to seek help. What began as a local community initiative has grown into a trusted youth mental health and wellbeing program, delivered through the power of sport and community.
The Gala Dinner will celebrate the people, clubs, volunteers, partners and supporters who have helped shape Read the Play’s story, while also looking ahead to the next chapter of impact.
Guests will enjoy a three-course meal, four-hour drinks package and a memorable evening recognising 20 years of Read the Play.
