About This Walk: We will be seeing historical Woolwich and surrounds. There are some interesting buildings, plus sights to see of the harbour from this area. Woolwich a part of Hunters Hill East, has a mixed history of ship building and some very interesting buildings. Although often overlooked Woolwich has some key secrets to Sydney's industrial past as well as some interesting recent history.After the walk is over we will enjoy a lovely coffee break and networking over at Cockatoo Island via ferry from Valentia Street Wharf at Woolwich. We will have time for a stroll around the island (with some added history commentary from myself) before grabbing a ferry to return to Circular Quay (approx 4.30pm).
