About
Hide and Seek with Mum by Ed Allen and Laura Wood
Come along and help Penguin play hide and seek with Mum. Mum has found some interesting places to hide but penguin cannot find her. Can you see where Mum is hiding?
Hide and seek with Mum is a lovely book to share with children. The text is simple and clear to follow, the pictures are bright and expressive, helping children better understand the story. This encourages children to look closely and guess where mum is hiding, keeping the children more engaged as the story unfolds. For some children playing hide and seek is a familiar game. This book helps create a connection between a child’s lived experience and the story, making it easier to join in and feel confident with what is happening.
