Prepare your body, build confidence, and feel supported heading into birth and beyond.This online workshop, led by a pelvic health physiotherapist, will guide you through every stage of the journey. You will gain a clear understanding of your pelvic floor, learn practical exercises to support your body during pregnancy, and explore techniques to help protect your perineum.
We will cover what to expect in labour, including positions, breathing and pushing strategies to support a smoother birth and reduce the risk of perineal trauma.
You will also learn how to support your recovery after birth, with guidance on pelvic floor and core rehabilitation, bladder and bowel health, and a safe return to exercise.
Suitable for all pregnancies, whether it is your first or subsequent birth, and for those planning a vaginal birth or caesarean.
