Please join us to launch our oral history project about life in the Caulfield, Glen Huntly and Carnegie areas, when race horses were an everyday feature.Dr Andrew Lemon, our project collaborator will speak about the seven interviews he conducted with the help of funding from the Victorian Local History Grants Program.
Dr Andrew Lemon is a professional historian who has published numerous historical texts, with horse racing a specialty. Andrew was appointed a member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 2019 for significant contributions to community history and the racing industry.
