Shadows from the Past is a dramatised evening walk through the heritage listed McLeod Street Pioneer Cemetery in McLeod Street Cairns. This cemetery contains the graves of the early Cairns residents, the well known and the not so well known. The 'residents' are brought to life by local actors under the guidance of a professional artistic director, Rachel Terry of Box Jelly Theatre Co., while Cairns Family History has supplied the background information on these 'residents'.
Please note the following - this event is NOT suitable for people in wheelchairs or who have limited mobility. The ground is very uneven and there are trip hazards.
Please wear closed in shoes.
