Flickerfest is thrilled to celebrate its landmark 35th anniversary.
Over the past 35 years, since its establishment in 1991, the festival has identified talent and launched the careers of hundreds of emerging filmmakers. Supporting them to become established voices, who now lead the way in the Australian Film Industry, both at home and internationally.
Flickerfest's alumni reads like a who's who of the Australian industry and our Flickerfest 35th Anniversary Retrospective Shorts programme celebrates some standout films from exceptional talent both in front of and behind the camera, featuring films from exceptional directors sharing the screen.
