Vocations Discernment Retreat: Expression of Interest (July)

Have you been wondering whether God may be calling you to the priesthood?The Perth Vocations Office warmly invites men aged 18+ to submit an Expression of Interest for the upcoming Vocations Discernment Retreat at St Charles Seminary from 10–12 July 2026.
As places for the retreat are limited, this initial registration is an Expression of Interest only and does not yet confirm a booking. Following review by Fr Joseph Laundy and the Perth Vocations Office, those invited to attend will receive a private booking link to secure their place and complete the retreat payment ($80).
This retreat is an opportunity to step away from the busyness of daily life and spend time in prayer, fraternity, reflection, and conversation while exploring God’s call.
Over the weekend, participants will experience aspects of seminary life and hear from priests and seminarians about their own vocational journeys and discernment experiences.
The retreat includes:
• Mass and daily prayer
• Talks from Fr Joseph Laundy, Fr Vincent Glynn (Vicar General), and Fr Stephen Goddard
• Time for personal prayer and reflection
• Adoration and Benediction
• Meals and fellowship with seminarians and priests
• Bonfire and informal “Whisky Chats”

Whether you are actively discerning priesthood or simply beginning to ask deeper questions about God’s call for your life, you are warmly encouraged to submit an expression of interest.
