Universal Design for Learning is a framework for inclusive education that aims to lower barriers to learning and optimise each individual’s opportunity to learn.
This session will provide an overview of the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework, including the UDL 2.0 guidelines, for those who are new to the world of UDL or seeking a refresher.
The session will look at the scientific insights into how humans learn, and how this research underpins UDL, including learner variability and the three networks of the brain.
Looking to go beyond an introduction? Illume Learning is thrilled to be welcoming Dr Katie Novak to Townsville, Brisbane and Auckland to present full day in-person UDL workshops in July. Please visit www.illumelearning.com.au/events for more information.
