JESSICA AND AVIV PALTI
Rotary Southbank Elsternwick invites members and guests to an insightful Speakers Corner Dinner on Wednesday 24th June 2026
Our Guest Speakers are Jessica and Aviv Palti from the Rotary Passport Club of Melbourne.
Jessica Palti has always believed in the power of service to change lives, a value shaped by her family and experiences abroad. Through her work with schools and community projects in Cambodia, she has seen firsthand the challenges students face in accessing education, health, and basic sanitation — and the difference even small acts of support can make.
Sharing this same passion is her father, Aviv, who has worked alongside Jess on grassroots initiatives in Cambodia and is the author of Empowered – A New Generation of Leaders, an inspiring account of Cambodian youth using education and mentorship to break cycles of poverty and create ripple effects that transform their communities for generations.
Fifteen years ago, the Palti family founded the Cambodia Rural Students Trust, which has since supported the education of thousands of rural students and continues to empower the next generation of leaders.
We are delighted to welcome them to share their recent initiatives and the
inspiring impact they’ve made.
Starting at 6.00pm for 6.30pm start to 7.30pm Finish - including dinner.
Bookings are essential, cost is $35.00 (inclusive of dinner - a great deal!)
