About

Since it's launch in 2022, the Small Blocks Big Dreams project has engaged over 160 small landholders in the Corangamite Region and empowered participants to become land stewards through tailored land management workshops.

The project aims to build natural resource management knowledge, skills, community connection, and landholder confidence in adopting on ground management practices to improve and nurture the landscape and environment on their property and within their community.

For this Introductory event, travel back in time with us to Ballarat's iconic Sovereign Hill to imagine what the region looked like during the Gold Rush.
Small bush block landholders in the Corangamite Catchment are invited to meet like-minded people, and discuss the opportunity to participate the the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority's Small Blocks Big Dreams Program.

This introductory event will provide participants with an engaging and historical educational session on the legacy of the Gold Rush, followed by a sit down dinner at the Charlie Napier Hotel.
