About

Join us for the Climate Smart Future Homes 2026 Series! Practical, hopeful workshops combining local tours and hands-on learning to help you make your home, garden or farm more resilient. Hear from leading experts and locals already doing it, take home ideas you can use straight away, and connect with others creating climate-smart change in Bass Coast.

At the third in a series of three sessions, you will hear from Hear from Ecologist Dr Helen Corney from Gardens for Wildlife Victoria on ways to enhance your garden for local wildlife, and Lisa Wangman, Education, Training and Communications Manager from Bass Coast Landcare Network on the many ways of using Indigenous plants for in your garden before heading out on a tour to the River Garden and then hopping on a bus to beautiful local properties to talk to landholders putting this topic into practice.

Location: All sessions start at the Bass Hall, - 2-4 Bass School Road Bass, 3991.
Catering: Coffee/Tea, lunch and afternoon snacks included, let us know any dietaries when booking.
Cost: Gold coin donation.
Information: contact lisa.wangman@basscoastlandcare.org.au or call 0409366914.
RSVP essential for each workshop separately at the booking links above for catering and so we can prepare enough take-home kits for each session.
