IMPORTANT: These sessions are for SSAA Sydney Branch Pistol Club (SBPC) Novice and Trainee Members only. If you have not yet completed a Pistol Safe Handling Course with SBPC, you must first join the Club and successfully complete the course before booking a Novice or Trainee session.
Our Novice Sessions are designed to build your confidence and develop the fundamental skills required to become a safe and competent pistol shooter. Under the guidance of our experienced Instructors and Range Officers, you'll receive structured coaching while working towards your Probationary Pistol Licence requirements.
Once you have:
Completed a minimum of three (3) Novice Sessions; and
Been issued with your NSW Probationary Pistol Licence (PPL),
you may then progress to our Trainee Sessions, where you'll continue developing your practical skills, complete your mandatory participation requirements, and prepare for full pistol club membership.
Please Note: You will not be permitted to attend unless you are a currently approved SBPC Novice or Trainee Member and meet the prerequisites for the session you have booked.
