Canola season update – 13 September
Our canola has now moved into its late-season stage, and the broad sea of yellow seen earlier in the season has faded considerably. Flowers remain in patches, particularly around the crop edges, and there are still lovely opportunities for group photographs and close-up images—but the experience is now quite different from peak flowering.
The walking tracks, tractor train, pianos, vintage tractors and trucks remain open, and visitors are welcome to make a day of it with food, live music, wine, Cornella Brewery beer and plenty of space to relax at Shiraz Republic.
We have introduced a reduced late-season admission price. Everyone with an existing booking will be contacted and offered the choice of attending with additional value, transferring their booking to next season, or receiving a refund.

Park in our designated car park and stroll straight to the action.
Make a day of it. Book a table at the Shiraz Republic cellar door and settle in properly. Live music every Saturday and Sunday, and on the Friday public holiday. Cellar door reservations can be made separately when you book your ticket.

Feel like a short getaway? Stay in one of our cabins — a short stroll straight to the canola, or bring your own caravan, and take advantage of early morning or evening photography. The Shiraz Republic — less than 2 hours from Melbourne.
