FKCANT June School Holiday Event
About
FKCANT is excited to host a special school holiday cultural activity for Foster and Kinship Carers and the children in their care, delivered by Dale Austin and the team from Dingo Cockatoo Aboriginal Culture.Dale and his team bring a wealth of cultural knowledge, warmth, and experience working with children and families. Their sessions are known for being engaging, hands-on, and welcoming, creating a space where children and carers can learn together through shared experiences.
During the session, families will have the opportunity to take part in a range of interactive cultural activities, including an animal encounter, didgeridoo making, and ochre painting. Children will learn about the cultural significance of these activities while enjoying hands-on experiences in a supportive and family-friendly environment.
This is a relaxed outdoor experience designed to celebrate culture, connection, and community. Activities are suitable for a range of ages and allow children and carers to participate side-by-side at their own pace.
Following the success of our recent school holiday cultural activity, we are delighted to once again partner with Dingo Cockatoo Aboriginal Culture to offer this meaningful experience for carers and children.
