Queensberry Cup Billycart Challenge

More than just a race, the Queensberry Cup is a street festival and a celebration of the diverse communities of North Melbourne and West Melbourne - local residents, businesses, students and workers.
For one day Errol St. is closed, the haybales mark the track and billycarts zoom down the hill. Plus the multi-dimensional street party on Queensberry St.
Now in its fifth year, the Billycart Challenge promises to be a hard-fought competition with a wide open field.
Big prizes will be awarded for the fastest in various age categories and the most creative.
Optional fundraising allows for racers to contribute to the charitable work of the local Neighbourhood Centre

There are sessions leading up to the big day where you can get expert guidance on designing and building your vehicle, as well as access to materials and tools.
