This is the booking page for the 2026-27 Wetland Plant Identification and Ecology Course

 

Observe the changing seasons, water depths and ecological drivers of the wetlands at Wirra-lo, the stunning conservation reserve currently being restored by Wetland Revival Trust in association with the local First Nations community.

This well-loved course is held on 3 separate days over a six-month period to focus on a different wetland habitat type associated with the different phases of the wetting and drying cycle and the changing plant communities.

Stream 1 - Wednesdays x 3

Day 1: Wednesday 28 Oct 2026

Day 2: Wednesday 2 Dec 2026

Day 3: Wednesday 14 Apr 2027

Stream 2 - Thursdays x 3

Day 1: Thursday 29 Oct 2026

Day 2: Thursday 3 Dec 2026

Day 3: Thursday 15 Apr 2027

Please choose a stream, either Wednesdays or Thursdays, by selecting your preferred first date in October 2026.

After this choice, day 2 in December 2026 and day 3 in April 2027 will be on the same weekday. 

 

THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE BOOKING PROCESS if something goes wrong or to meet your accounts procedures. 

Simply email admin@wetlandrevivaltrust.org with your booking request and we will issue you with an invoice. Please include the name(s) and email addresses of participants in the email, as well as any other relevant information for the invoice (i.e. email for accounts, purchase order number).
