This winter, flip the script and step into roles you’d never usually play with our MISCAST Black Comedy Winter Camp: HEATHERS & THE ADDAMS FAMILY Edition – a high-energy, darkly hilarious week where camp meets cult-classic musical theatre.Camp Overview
MISCAST Winter Camp is a week-long musical theatre intensive where every casting rule goes out the window: anyone can be Veronica, JD, Heather Chandler, Gomez, Morticia, or Wednesday, regardless of age, gender, or ‘type’.
Across the week, students build bold performance skills through scenes, songs, and ensembles inspired by Heathers: The Musical and The Addams Family, culminating in a miscast one hour showcase for family and friends.
Showcase
At the end of the camp, friends and family are invited to a fast-paced MISCAST showcase, featuring songs and scenes from both shows with unexpected and hilarious casting, performed in totally new ways.
Students leave with performance experience and the thrill of having tackled two cult hits in one unforgettable week.
