Fees, Salaries & Profit – Getting the numbers right

Fees, Salaries & Profit – Getting the numbers right

hero

Join Paul Viney, ACA National President and developer of the ACA Time/Cost Calculator Guide (TCCG) and ACA Salary Calculator, for a practical webinar exploring how these two powerful business tools work together to support profitable, compliant and resilient architectural practices.

This session will provide directors, practice managers and business leaders with a clear understanding of how project fees, staff costs, overheads and Award obligations interact. Paul will demonstrate how to use the ACA’s calculators to take account of all costs and value-adds to develop more accurate fee proposals, establish sustainable charge-out rates, and ensure salaries meet Award requirements.

Participants will gain practical insights into:

  • Further understanding the relationship between fees, salaries, overheads and profitability
  • Calculating project fees using the ACA Time/Cost Calculator Guide
  • Developing charge-out rates that reflect the true cost of service delivery
  • Understanding Architects Award classifications and salary obligations
  • Using the ACA Salary Calculator to determine compliant remuneration
  • Identifying common risks associated with under-pricing projects and underestimating employment costs
  • Building a more financially sustainable and resilient practice
