Perth Rotary Lunch| Passages - Supporting Homeless Youth
For this first lunch meeting of our Perth Rotary Centenary Year, our meeting Chair - Past President David Reed - invites you to join us for Rotary Fellowship and hear from our speakers:
Chrissie Smith, Director, Specialist Community Services, Vinnies WA
Jade Gillespie, Coordinator Passages Peel
Aimee Robinson, Coordinator Passages Perth
Their topic will be "Passages – A Partnership in Supporting Homeless Youth".
Hear how Passages is making a difference to homeless youth of Perth. Passages is one of the club’s longest running projects dating back to 1998 when Past President David Reed led the creation of a joint venture project with Vinnies WA to provide services and support to homeless youth in Perth and Mandurah. Chrissie Smith, Director Specialist Community Services Vinnies WA will be joined by Aimee Robinson and Jade Gillespie to share how the two Youth Engagement Hubs provide young people aged 12 to 25 with a safe, friendly and positive place to access support and referrals to essential services. This a great opportunity for members and guests to hear first hand from the teams that operate the two Hubs and gain insight into what and how services are provided, what the outcomes are and impact is on young people, along with the opportunities for the future.
We look forward to you joining us for what will be an engaging and informative presentation about a project the club has been deeply connected with for over 25 years.
Bookings close Tuesday 30th June 2026 @ 3pm
