Join Henry Ergas AO for a timely and thought-provoking conversation exploring the forces shaping contemporary society, including social cohesion, interfaith relations, public policy, the changing geopolitical landscape, and the importance of preserving the values and institutions that underpin a strong and inclusive democracy.
Drawing on decades of experience in economics, public policy and international affairs, Henry will offer unique insights into the challenges and opportunities facing Australia, the Jewish community, and broader society in an increasingly complex global environment.
Henry is a weekly columnist for The Australian and one of Australia's most respected public intellectuals. His distinguished career has included senior roles at the OECD in Paris, appointments at leading international universities, and service on numerous government advisory panels. In 2016, he was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia for distinguished service to infrastructure economics, higher education and public policy.
This special interfaith event will provide an opportunity for community leaders and members to engage in a meaningful discussion about the future of social cohesion, democratic values and constructive relationships between communities.
