The Raising Digital Citizens Parent and Community Learning Suite has been developed to provide parents and carers with contemporary knowledge, practical tools and evidence-informed strategies to help young people navigate the opportunities and challenges of an increasingly connected world.
Through expert presenters, College leaders and community partnerships, we hope to strengthen our collective capacity to raise young people who are responsible, respectful, resilient and safe digital citizens.
Session 1 – Mon 29 June – Setting the Standard: A Unified Community Approach
Session 2 – Wed 29 July – The Adolescent Brain & Screen Time Reality
Session 3 – Wed 26 August – Wellbeing, Bullying and Safety Beyond School
Session 4 – Wed 16 September – Practical Parenting: Monitoring, Controls and Boundaries
Session 5 – Tue 27 October – Social Media Reality: Platforms, Trends & Risks
Session 6 – Mon 23 November – Replacing the Habit: Alternatives to Device Time
