Connect with women from across Victoria’s building industry at the HIA Building Women Networking Lunch, featuring keynote speaker Chelsea Roffey.Chelsea is an author, researcher and Winston Churchill Fellow who has travelled internationally examining the barriers and opportunities surrounding diversity. Her work has taken her to APEC’s Women’s Leadership Forum in Beijing and the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in New York.
Alongside her writing, research and media work, Chelsea is also a highly accomplished AFL umpire. In 2012, she became the first woman selected to umpire an AFL Grand Final and later played an important role in negotiations that led to the AFL’s umpire maternity leave policy.
At this special event, Chelsea will share her experiences of pioneering opportunities for women in traditionally male-dominated fields and explore how diversity can unlock greater performance, innovation and potential within organisations.
