LIFE'S ACHES AND JOYS: WORDS AND MUSIC
Rick Freeman, Tony Gould, John Stanton

It will be accompanied by original compositions written and performed by Tony Gould.
Themes of mental health, sadness, joy, grief, family, friendships and the Australian loneliness epidemic.
Our café culture and coffee as good in Melbourne as anywhere in the nation and beyond.
The Australian Psyche including our obsession with sport yet the determination of all manner of artists despite it.
Our resourcefulness, inventiveness and reference to regional Australia. Themes of racism and acceptance.
Our enterprising character, humour and our innately sharp “bullshit detector”.
Our relatively unique long service leave.
Earthiness such as our caravan park ethos alongside the swanky.
Social commentary in general.
Of course the universal company of pets that perhaps help our blood pressure. Working dogs and a messenger pigeons in WW2. Our generosity at our best and the environment challenges of terrifying
fires in ‘the bush.’
The good and the evil in people.
Much is owed to our varied people from far and wide to our Island Continent and greatly of course to our indigenous people.
TICKETS $45| $40
