About

Sign of Four is a genre-blurring acoustic ensemble bringing together four of Western Australia's most adventurous musical voices: Jude Iddison, Shenzo Gregorio, Mardae Selepak and Daniel Drieberg.

Formed in 2022, the group developed a distinctive sound built around violins, mandolin, guitar, octave viola, vocal harmonies and fearless improvisation. With the addition of percussionist Joel Drieberg, the ensemble expands into new rhythmic territory while retaining the intimacy and interplay that have become their hallmark.


Drawing inspiration from jazz, folk, classical, Celtic, Latin and contemporary music traditions, Sign of Four (Five) reimagine everything from beloved standards to modern favourites and original compositions. Their performances balance intricate arrangements with spontaneous invention, creating musical journeys that are equal parts virtuosic, playful and deeply human.

Whether performing in concert halls, jazz clubs, festivals or living rooms, the band invite audiences into a world where genres dissolve, musical conversations unfold in real time, and every performance becomes a unique adventure.
