Intermediate A2.3 - Term 3, 2026 |
Teacher: Lou Thompson. Wednesday evenings 6:45-8:45.
Classes will be held online via Zoom. This course is open to all students who completed our A2.2 course with Lou in Term 2. New students should contact us before enrolling.
During term 3, students will cover the leçons in Unité 3 of the Inspire 2 textbook. Topics covered include: talking about the services, businesses and accommodation in a town; comparing cities; the exodus from Paris; and describing a trip overseas. Grammar points include: consolidation of the use of the l’imparfait; the relative pronouns ‘qui’, ‘que’ and ‘où’; comparative and superlative forms; indirect object pronouns; and the pronouns ‘y’ and ‘en’.
