Celebrating The Hayward Years at John Martin's’ is an exhibition exploring the golden age of Adelaide retail and the enduring connection between the Hayward family and John Martin's Department Store. Discover how 'Johnnies' became a beloved South Australian institution and a defining part of city life for generations.

Exhibition admission includes entry to the House Museum & Gallery.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your tour departure time. Bookings for guided tours are essential as there are limited places available.

Meet Nipper and Nimble
Step inside the historic Carrick Hill Stables and meet Nipper and Nimble, the much-loved horses who brought joy to generations of South Australian children in the Magic Cave at John Martin's each Christmas. For session times and tickets, please click here.
